Absent

One third performance, one third art installation, and one third game, Absent is an audience-of-one journey across a bridge and through a century in search of secret histories and hidden mysteries.

The original experiential work premiered at the 2010 IngenuityFest.

The project used digital technology, sound design, and graphics to create a game layer across the festival, reformatting a solo audience member’s experience. Through text, image, video, and sculpture, it offered a different way to see the surrounding site.
